Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Online Shop. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our delivery process.
1. Delivery Locations
We currently ship to addresses across the United Kingdom, including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
If you would like to place an order for delivery outside the UK, please contact us in advance at vcuser@beacons-npa.gov.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
2. Processing Times
- Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days of purchase.
- Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
- During busy periods (e.g., Christmas), dispatch times may be slightly longer. We’ll notify you of any delays.
3. Delivery Methods and Times
We use Royal Mail or other reputable UK carriers for all deliveries.
Estimated delivery times once dispatched:
- Standard UK Delivery: 2–4 working days
- Tracked Delivery (optional): 1–2 working days
Please note that these are estimates and not guaranteed delivery times.
4. Delivery Charges
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on the weight and size of your order. Typical charges are:
- Standard Delivery (under 1kg): from £2.95
- Standard Delivery (1kg–2kg): from £3.95
- Tracked Delivery: from £5.95
Larger or bulk orders may incur higher charges, which will be clearly shown before payment is made.
5. Tracking Your Order
- If you choose a tracked delivery option, you will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.
- Standard deliveries are not trackable.
6. Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within 7 working days of dispatch, please contact us at vcuser@beacons-npa.gov.uk with your order number.
Please check with neighbours or your local sorting office in case a delivery attempt was made and not notified.
7. Damaged or Lost Packages
If your parcel arrives damaged, please:
- Take photographs of the packaging and contents.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
If your parcel appears lost, we will work with our delivery partners to investigate and offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement or refund.
8. Click and Collect
We currently do not offer a click-and-collect service from the Visitor Centre, but this may be reviewed in future.
